DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side are slightly flared forming a larger square opening. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp strands are braided sweet grass. Around the top of the basket is three narrow splints (0.2 cm) that are narrower than the weft splints (1.3 cm). The rim is single wrapped sweet grass and there is a second rim around the bottom that is also single wrapped sweet grass. On one side of the basket is a single small circular loop of wood splint.
