DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are slightly flared forming a larger circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (2.0 cm high). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp strands on the basket and lid are braided sweet grass. Around the top of the basket is a single wood splint (1.0 cm) Around the center of the lid is several rows of unbraided sweet grass. The basket is lined with pink fabric that is held in place with stitches around the rim and at the interior base. A pink cushion is sewn to the interior of the base. The rim of the lid is single wrapped sweet grass. On top of the lid is a braided sweet grass handle with a bow of twisted sweet grass. Collections
