DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (2.4 cm high) with a small ring in the center of the lid. The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints (0.3 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.1 cm). Around the top of the basket is a wider wood splint (1.0 cm). Around the center of the basket is two rows of braided sweet grass. The lid also has two rows of braided sweet grass. Most of the splints are dyed pink. The rim of the basket and the lid are single wrapped sweetgrass with a wood splint. The ring is single wrapped wood splint. Collections
