DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (1.2 cm high). The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints of the basket and the lid (0.2 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.3 cm). Around the middle of the basket is several rows of braided sweet grass. There are also rows of braided sweet grass half the distance between the center and edge of the lid. The weft splints are dyed blue. The rim of the basket is single wrapped wood splint while the rim on the lid is single wrapped sweet grass. Collections
