DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are flared forming a larger circular opening. The basket has two round handles positioned opposite from one another on the rim of the basket. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints (0.4 cm) are narrower than the weft strands (1.5 cm). Around the top half of the basket are three wider warp splint (1.2 cm) that are alternated with narrower splints. The weft splints alternate between being dyed green and undyed. The wider splints are dyed red. The rim of the basket is single wrapped sweet grass. The basket has two ring handles located opposite one another that are sweet grass wrapped with a wood splint.
