DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are flared to form a larger circular opening. The basket has two small curved handles. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (0.5 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.3 cm). Around the top of the basket is two wider warp splints (1.6 cm) that are bridged by a row of diamond jikiji’j. The rim of the basket is a single bound sweet grass. The basket has two small wooden handles positioned on opposite sides of the basket. Most of the splints are died mostly pink and some green.Collections
