DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. On the sides of the basket is two small U-shaped handles. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints (0.3 cm) are the narrower that the weft splints (1.0 cm). Near the top of the basket is two wider splints (1.3 cm) between which is a row of diamond jikiji’j. The rim is single wrapped sweet grass. The handles are U-shaped and are notched where they meet the rim and are woven into the basket. Collections
