DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are flared forming a larger circular opening. The basket has a arched U-shaped handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints (0.5 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (0.8 cm). Around the top is two rows of a wider splint (1.5 cm). Between which is a row of diamond jikiji’j. The jikiji’j and the narrower warp splint are dyed pink. The rim and the handle are single wrapped sweet grass on a solid wood splint frame. Collections
