DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are flared forming a larger circular opening. There is a single round handle attached to the side of the basket. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints (1.0 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.3 cm). Near the top is two rows of a wider splint (1.5 cm) between which is a row of diamond jikiji’j. The jikiji’j are bordered by very narrow (0.4 cm) warp splints. The rim of the basket single wrapped sweet grass on a solid wood splint frame. On the side is a large ring handle that is attached to the basket with a metal wire.
