DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side transition to a larger circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (4.0 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket are two different widths (1.0 cm and 1.7 cm) and the weft splints alternate between two widths (0.8 cm and 1.5 cm) the wider warp splints are around the top and are bridged by a row of diamond jikiji’j. The warp splint on the lid are two widths (0.9 cm and 0.4 cm) that are narrower than the weft splints (1.0 cm). The wider warp splints are closer to the edge of the lid. The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
