DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The sides are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.5 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket are two different widths (1.7 cm and 0.9 cm). The wider splints are in pairs that are separated by one splint of the narrower width. The wider warp splints are the same width as the weft splints (1.7 cm). The lid has three different widths of warp splints. Around the top edge of the lid the widest warp splint (1.5 cm) are bridged by diamond jikiji’j. The middle width splints (1.1 cm) and the narrowest splints (0.4 cm) are near the center of the lid. The weft splints on the lid alternate between two widths (1.7 cm and 0.8 cm). The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
