DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The sides narrow forming a narrower circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.5 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket are three different widths, around the bottom the splints are the narrowest (0.6 cm), around the top are the next narrowest (1.0 cm) with a single splint of the widest splint (1.4 cm). The weft splint on the basket alternate between two widths (0.9 cm and 1.3 cm). The warp splints on the lid alternate between two widths (0.7 cm and 0.4 cm) and the weft splints also alternate between two widths (0.8 cm and 1.6 cm). The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
