DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The sides are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.5 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket alternate between two widths (1.1 cm and 0.5 cm). The weft splints also alternate between two widths (1.2 cm and 1.8 cm). Near the top of the basket is a row of diamond jikiji’j. The warp splints on the lid are mostly one width (0.6 cm) with wider splints (1.0 cm) near the center of the lid. The warp splints alternate between two widths (1.4 cm and 0.6 cm). Near the center of the lid is a row of diamond jikiji’j. The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
