DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side transition from square to a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (2.5 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket are three different widths (1.1 cm, 0.8 cm and 0.4 cm) with the widest near the center of the basket and the narrower splints interspersed above and below, all of the warp splints are narrower than the weft splints (1.3 cm). The warp splints on the lid are two different widths (0.9 cm and 0.7 cm) with the wider along the top edge, the weft splints on the lid alternate between two widths (1.2 cm and 0.5 cm). The rim of the basket is single wrapped wood splints and the and rim on the lid is single bound sweet grass.Collections
