DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side transition from square to a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.0 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket are two different widths (0.4 cm and 1.1 cm) the wider widths are around the middle of the basket the warp splints are narrower than the weft splints (1.5 cm). The warp splints alternate between two widths (0.7 cm and 0.9 cm) the weft splints also alternate between two widths (2.0 cm and 0.8 cm). The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
