DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (4.0 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints on the basket (1.0 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.6 cm). Near the top of the basket is two wider warp splints (1.7) which are bridged by a row of diamond jikiji’j. The lid of the basket has several different width of splints though most are one of two widths (0.9 cm and 0.2 cm). The weft is the same width as on the basket. The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
