DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side transition from square to a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.5 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket are three widths (1.0 cm, 0.6 cm and 0.4 cm) the widest splints are around the middle and the other two widths are mixed on either side. The weft splints are all one width (1.5 cm) that is wider than the warp splints. The warp splints on the basket are mostly one width (0.6 cm) with two wider splints (1.1 cm) around the top edge of the lid which are bridged by a row of diamond jikiji’j. The weft splints on the lid are all one width (1.0 cm). The rim of the basket is double wrapped wood splints and the rim of the lid is single bound wood splint. In the center of the lid is a single wood splint loop. Collections
