DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side transition from square to a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (4.6 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket (0.6 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.0 cm). Around the top of the basket is several rows of a wider warp splint (1.0 cm) two of these wider splints are bridged by a row of diamond jikiji’j. The warp splints on the lid are two different width (1.4 cm and 0.5 cm) with the wider splints on the side and the narrower on the top. The warp splints on the lid are all one width (1.3 cm). The side of the lid is decorated with a row of diamond jikiji’j. There is also a wood splint ring in the center of the lid. The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint.
