DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side are flared to form a circular opening. The basket has a single curved handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (1.5 cm) are wider than the weft splints (1.4 cm). The rim of the basket is wood splints that is nailed to the basket. The basket has a single curved wooden handle that is notched where it meets the rim. The handle is woven into the basket with the weft splints.This style is a potato basket.
