DescriptionCylindrical bottle shape woven around a glass bottle. The bottle wrap is woven in a one-over-one checker-board pattern following the shape of the bottom. The warp splints (0.3 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.2 cm). The warp on the neck is mostly sweet grass with several wider warp splints (0.5 cm) spaced along the neck. The edge of the mouth of the bottle wrap is single wrapped sweet grass. Tied just below the mouth is a small piece of leather that is tied a bundle of sweet grass, another small piece of leather is tied around the middle of the bundle. In the mouth of the bottle is a wood plug. Collections
