DescriptionWoven basket with a rectangular base. The side are straight forming a rectangular opening. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints are two different widths (1.1 cm and 0.3 cm) and are mostly narrower than the weft splints (0.9 cm). The wider splints are one row near the top and around the middle. Around the bottom of the basket is several rows of a lighter colored sweet grass. This is what also wraps the rim. Collections
