DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side narrow forming a smaller circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.5 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket are all one width (1.1 cm) while the weft splints alternate in width (1.8 cm and 0.9 cm). The basket rim is single wrapped wood splints. The weft splints on the lid alternate between two widths (1.1 cm and 0.5 cm). The warp splints on the lid are also two different widths (1.2 cm and 0.4 cm), the wider splints are closer to the edge and the narrower are closer to the center. The rim of the lid is single wrapped sweet grass. The sweet grass on the rim is dyed green and the wrap on the rim is dyed red. Collections
