DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.0 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket (1.1 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.6 cm). The weft splints on the lid alternate between two widths (0.8 cm and 0.5 cm) and the warp splints are mostly one width (0.4 cm) with wider splints (0.7 cm) near the edge of the top. On top of the two rows of the wider splint on the lid is a row of pink dyed diamond jikiji’j. The rim of the basket is single bound wood splint and the rim of the lid is single wrapped sweet grass.
