DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side transition from square to a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.0 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket (0.5 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.8 cm). At the top of the basket is a single row of a wider warp splint (1.3 cm). The warp splints on the lid are two different widths (0.8 cm and 0.4 cm) that are narrower than the weft splint (1.8 cm), the narrower warp splints are toward the middle of the basket. The rim of the basket is single bound wood splint and the rim of the lid is single wrapped sweet grass. In the center of the lid is a wrapped wood splint ring. Collections
