DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side transition from square to a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (2.0 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket are two widths (1.0 cm and 0.5 cm) and are narrower than the weft splints (1.8 cm). The wider warp splints are located at the middle and top of the basket while the rest are the narrower splints. The warp splints on the lid are three different widths (1.0 cm, 0.5 cm and 0.3 cm) with the splints narrowing toward the middle of the basket. The weft splint on the lid alternate between two widths (1.6 cm and 0.5 cm). The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
