DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side transition from square to a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.0 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket (0.5 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.7 cm). The warp splints on the lid are two different widths (0.5 cm and 0.8 cm) and are narrower than then weft splints (1.5 cm) The wider warp splints on the lid are closer to the outside of the lid. In the center of the lid is a wood splint wrapped ring. The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
