DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side transition from square to a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (4.5 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket (0.5 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.7 cm). Around the bottom of the basket is a single wider warp splint (1.1 cm). The warp splints on the lid are two different widths (1.0 cm and 0.5 cm) the wider are around the sides and outside of the lid top with the narrower splints near the center, both are narrower than the weft splints (1.3 cm). The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
