DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The sides are flared forming a larger circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (4.5 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints on the basket (1.1 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.4 cm). Near the top and bottom of the basket is a wider row of warp splints (2.2 cm) that are decorated with a row of jikiji’j. The weft splints alternate between two different widths (1.3 cm and 0.7 cm) and the warp splints narrow from the edge toward the center. (1.2-0.5 cm) The rim of the basket and the lid are single wrapped sweet grass. Collections
