DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side transition from square to a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.0 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket (0.5 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.7 cm). Near the top of the basket is a wave like pattern of diamond jikiji’j. The weft splints alternate between two widths (0.5 cm and 1.2 cm) and the warp splints are the same width as the wider weft splints (1.2 cm). Around the edge of the lid top is a row of jikiji’j. The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
