DescriptionWoven basket with a rectangular base. The side are flared to form an oval opening. The basket has two curved handles. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (0.7 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (2.1 cm). At the top and bottom of the basket is a wider warp splint (1.0 cm). The rim of the basket is a double bound wood splint. The basket has two curved wood splint handles that are double wrapped in wood splints. The handle is woven into the basket with the weft splints.Collections
