DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has two small handles on the sides. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (1.1 cm) are mostly narrower than the weft splints (2.1 cm), there are also wider warp splints (2.4 cm) near the top of the basket. The wider warp splints alternate with the narrow splints at the top. The rim of the basket is a double wrapped wood splint. The basket has two small handles that are woven into the sides of the basket with the weft splints. Collections
