DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The sides are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (4.0 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints on the basket (2.1 cm) are wider than the weft splints (2.0 cm). Near the top of the basket is a row of diamond jikiji’j that with a row of narrower warp splints (1.0 cm) above and below the diamond jikiji’j. The warp splints in the lid are the narrower width (1.0 cm) and the weft splints are the same width of the weft splints on the basket. Around the top of the lid is two rows of diamond jikiji’j. The warp splints on the top of the lid narrow toward the center. The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
