DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (2.0 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints on the basket (1.5 cm) are wider than the weft splints (1.1 cm). Around the center of the basket is two wider wood splints (2.1 cm). The wider splints alternate with narrower warp splint (0.2 cm). The center three wider warp rows are decorated with rows of loops. The warp splint on the lid are the same narrower splints as on the basket, the weft splints widen as they move outward from the center. The center of the lid is several rows of sweet grass. The sides of the lid are a single wider splint. The rim of the basket is single wrapped wood splints. The rim of the lid is single wrapped sweet grass. Most of the splints are dyed green.
