DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are flared forming a larger circular opening. The sides do not slope at the same angle all the way around. On the side where the side slopes at a shallower angle is a wrapped handle making the basket look slightly like a frying pan. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (0.7 cm) are wider than the weft splints (0.4 cm). The rim of the basket is braided wood splint. The handle is like a frying pans handle. The handle is wrapped with wood splints. The base of the handle splits into three, one joins with the base of the basket while the other two form a ring underneath rim. Collections
