DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side flare and narrow to form a slightly larger circular opening. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (0.3 cm and 0.5 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (0.5 cm and 0.8 cm). There is a distinct line around the middle where the basket starts to narrow to form the opening. The bottom half has a non-uniform wave like pattern of jikiji’j. The rim of the basket is single wrapped wood splits. Collections
