DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side are flared forming a larger circular opening. Attached to the sides of the basket is a carved D-shaped handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (1.1 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (2.3 cm). The rim is wood splints nailed to the basket. The handle is nailed to the rim and woven into the basket with the weft splint.Collections
