DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a D-shaped handles. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints (2.5 cm) are wider than the weft splints (2.0 cm). Around the top is a single narrower warp splint (0.9 cm). Between the rows of wider warp splints is a row of diamond jikiji’j. Both the warp and weft splints are dyed pink. The rim is wood splint nailed to the basket. The handle is D-shaped and woven into the basket with the weft as well as nailed to the rim.Collections
