DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are flared forming a larger circular opening. The basket has two small D-shaped handles. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints (0.2 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (0.8 cm). Near the top, the middle and around the bottom are two rows of wider warp splint (0.4 cm). Along each of the wider rows is a row of jikiji’j. The rim is single wrapped wood splints. The handles are D-shaped that are woven into the basket with the weft splint. The bottom of the basket is concave. Collections
