DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side are flared forming a larger circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (2.9 cm high). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints on the basket and lid (0.2 cm) are wider than the weft splints (1.3 cm). Around the bottom of the basket is two rows of a wider warp splint (0.8 cm). The warp splint on the lid are only around the edge with three rows near the middle. Two rows at the top, middle and bottom of the basket are dyed pink, below these are two rows that are dyed green. The warp splints around the middle of the lid are dyed pink. The rim of the basket and the lid are single wrapped wood splints. The wrap on the rim is dyed pink and the splints that make up the rim on the lid are dyed green. Collections
