DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side are curved forming a larger circular opening. Attached to the center of the long sides is a single D-shaped handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints (0.3 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.2 cm). Around the middle and the bottom are two wider warp splints (1.5 cm) that are separated with a narrow splint. The rim of the basket is a wood splint nailed to the frame of the basket. The basket has a single D-shaped handle that is attached to the sides of the basket and is woven in with the weft splints. Collections
