DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (1.5 cm high). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp strands on the basket and lid are sweet grass. Around the top of the basket is three wood splints the top one (0.6 cm) is narrower than the lower two (1.8 cm). Between the slightly wider wood splints is a row of diamond jikiji’j. The rim of the basket is single wrapped splints while the rim on the lid is single wrapped sweet grass. Collections
