DescriptionCovered ash and maple ? woven basket with a bottom square that widens to a rounded top. The lid is circular with flat splints radiating from center with 3 narrow strands of ash ? woven around center and as border around outside of top and 6 strands woven around sides of the lid. The decoration on sides of the basket consists of alternating dark and light flat splints arranged vertically. Horizontally the flat splints alternate with double rows of narrow strands. Narrative
