DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are slightly curved forming a circular opening. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints (0.2 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.0 cm). Near the top are two sets of two rows of wider splints (1.0 cm). Between two sets of wider splints is one of the narrower splints. Within the each of the sets is a row of diamond jikiji’j. The warp splint in the lower section are alternate being dyed pink or green. The wider splints are all dyed pink and the narrow splint at the top including the splint between the wider splints are dyed green. The rim is single wrapped wood splint. Collections
