DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side are flared to form a circular opening. The basket has two curved handles. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp strands (1.5 cm) are narrower than the weft strands (2.7 cm). The rim of the basket is a single bound wood splint. The basket has two curved wooden handle that are notched where they meet the rim. The handles are woven into the basket with the weft splints.Collections
