DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight and forms a circular opening. The basket has a single carved D-shaped handle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp strands (0.5 cm) are significantly narrower than the weft strands (1.1 cm). Around the center of the basket is two wider (1.5 cm) warp splints. The rim of the basket is a single bound wood splint. The basket has a single squared handle that is notched where it meets the rim and is woven into the basket with the weft splints.Collections
