DescriptionWoven basket with a square base that and slightly flared sides that widen to a circular opening. The basket has a “D”-shaped handle with a carved grip section in the middle. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp strands (1.1 cm) are slightly narrower than the weft strands (1.5 cm). The rim of the basket is a single bound wood splint.
