DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are flared to form a larger circular opening. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (1.7 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (2.7 cm). The rim of the basket is single wrapped sweetgrass. Written on the bottom is "Irene Lewis Micmac Nation".
