DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side are flared forming a larger circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (4.0 cm high). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints on the basket (0.3 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.4 cm). Around the top and middle of the basket are batches of three wider splints (0.8 cm) There are also rows of much wider splints (1.9 cm). The warp splint on the lid (0.8 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.7 cm). Some of the warp splints on the lid and the basket are dyed purple. The rim on the basket and lid are wood splints that are wrapped in wood splints. Collections
