DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side transition from square to a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (4.0 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints on the lid (0.6 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.2 cm). The top few warp rows are wider (0.8 cm). The warp splints on the lid alternate between two widths (1.1 and 1.4 cm) which are wider than the weft splints (0.7 cm). The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
