DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side transition from square to a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.6 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket (0.6 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.6 cm). Around the top of the basket is two rows of wider warp splints (1.2 cm). The warp splints on the lid are two widths (0.5 cm and 0.8 cm) and are narrower than the weft splints (1.5 cm). The narrower warp splints are toward the middle of the lid. In the center of the lid is a wood splint loop. The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
